Episode 25: The Price of Loyalty
(Amanuel POV)
Madizon and I were working around the clock,
reinforcing Chatlanka's defenses, preparing for Layla's
inevitable attack. The city was on edge, fear hanging in
the air. Shary's betrayal had shaken everyone's
confidence. Can we really keep him? Is he still with us?
He doesn't seem like he's with us anymore.
(Madizon POV)
I saw Shary volunteering at the refugee camp, working
tirelessly alongside Moana. It was a start, a sign that he
was trying to make amends. But the damage was
done. Trust was a fragile thing, easily broken, difficult to
repair. I'm not sure if I can trust him. He's done a lot of
bad things lately. But I have to support him. He's still
our friend.
(Moana POV)
Shary's presence at the camp was… complicated. I
appreciated his help, his willingness to get his hands
dirty, but I couldn't shake the feeling that he was doing
it for the wrong reasons, trying to buy his way back
into my good graces. However, I will admit that he
looks good. I'm going to need to move on. He just
needs to give me some time. I really do want to be
with him.
(Candy_baby POV)
Seeing Moana and Shary working together at the camp
gave me a sliver of hope. Maybe, just maybe, they
could find their way back to each other. But I also
worried about Layla. A cornered viper was the most
dangerous kind. I baked a triple batch of calming
candies and distributed them throughout the city,
hoping to ease the growing tension. Maybe this will
make them happy and feel at peace.
