IN LOVE WITH A S*X WORKER
EPISODE 6
Alex returned to the party, his face still burning
with anger from the confrontation with Victor. His
father, still visibly upset, demanded to know the
truth.
“Alex, we need to talk,” his father said, his voice
firm. Alex hesitated, not wanting to ruin the rest of
the party. “Dad, can we talk about this later? After
the party?”
His father nodded reluctantly. “Fine, but we will
discuss this tonight.”
As the party came to an end, Alex bid farewell to
the guests, his mind racing with thoughts of the
impending confrontation. He knew his parents
would be shocked and disappointed when they
learned the truth about Maya’s past.
Once the last guest had left, Alex followed his
parents into the house, Maya by his side. Dave
trailed behind them, his eyes fixed on Maya with a
mixture of curiosity and suspicion.
As they entered the living room, Alex’s father
turned to face him. “Alex, it’s time to tell us the
truth. What’s going on with Maya?”
Alex took a deep breath before speaking. “Maya
has a past, Dad. A past she’s trying to escape.”
His mother’s eyes widened. “What kind of past?”
Maya spoke up, her voice trembling. “I was a
pr st.tute, ma’am. But I have changed,
circumstances led me to it.”
Alex’s father’s face turned red with anger. “How
could you, Alex? How could you bring a…a…
pr.st,tute into our home?”
Alex stood his ground. “Dad, Maya is more than her
past. She’s kind, smart, and beautiful. And I love
her.”
Dave snorted. “Love? You call this love? She’s a
prost.tute, Alex!”
Maya’s eyes flashed with sadness. “I have
changed, that’s my past.”
Alex’s mother spoke up, her voice softening. “I don’t
know what circumstances led you to this choice of
life, Maya, but I hope you heal… I trust Alex’s
decision. I believe he has seen something good in
you.”
Alex’s father shouted at his wife. “I know Alex has
made good decisions in the past, but this is the
worst decision… Young lady,” he said, pointing at
Maya, “will you run out of my house this minute
before I call security on you?”
Maya trembled with fear, feeling like she was on
the verge of collapse under the weight of Alex’s
family’s judgment. She turned to leave, tears
streaming down her face, but Alex pulled her back.
“Dad, I’ve made many decisions for our company
without any issues, but now I’m making a decision
for my life, and you’re rejecting it,” Alex said, his
voice firm. “If Maya leaves today, know that you’ll
never see me smile again.”
Alex’s father retorted, “It’s better for you to be sad
than be with her.” He then called for security, but
Maya insisted, “No, I’ll leave now on my own.”
Maya departed, tears flowing like rain, while Alex
tried to follow her, but Dave blocked the door,
trapping Alex inside. Maya ran home, overwhelmed
by her emotions.
For two weeks, Alex had been confined to his
room, losing his will to live and refusing to eat. His
father pleaded with him to eat, but Alex said, “If
you want me to be happy, bring Maya.”
His father relented and went to Maya’s address,
which Alex had provided. When he arrived, he
knocked, and Maya opened the door, surprised to
see him.
After exchanging pleasantries, Alex’s father asked
Maya, “Do you truly love my son?” Maya replied,
“Yes.” As he was about to ask another question, he
noticed a photo on the wall – a man and woman
holding a baby.
Alex’s father approached the photo and asked,
“Who are these people?” Maya replied, “My
parents.” Alex’s father was stunned and stumbled,
almost falling.
“Are you John’s daughter?” he asked Maya,
shocked. Maya was equally surprised, “How did
you know my father?”
Alex’s father explained, “He’s my best friend, the
one who made me who I am today. I’ve been
searching for his family but couldn’t find them.”
Maya wiped away her tears, and Alex’s father said,
“Come here,” embracing her. “I’m sorry you had to
suffer, my daughter, but I promise you’ll be happy
from now on.”
They hugged again, and Alex’s father took Maya to
his home. When they arrived, Maya reunited with
Alex, who hugged her tightly.
Alex’s father blessed them, saying, “From now on,
you’ll stay with us, Maya, and I’ll ensure you and
Alex get married soon.”
Alex’s father shared with Alex how he knew Maya’s
father, and Alex was equally surprised, saying,
“God brought Maya into my life at the right time.”
As days turn into weeks.
Alex and Maya’s love continued to flourish, and
they decided to take their relationship to the next
level. They got married in a beautiful ceremony
surrounded by their friends and family. Alex’s
father, who had once rejected Maya, now beamed
with pride as he walked her down the aisle. But
not everyone was happy about their uni0n . Dave,
who had always been jealous of Alex’s success,
seethed with resentment towards Maya. He tried
everything he could to stop the marriage, but all his
efforts resulted in nothing. He spread rumors, tried
to bl*ckmail Maya, and even attempted to bribe
the officiant, but nothing worked. Alex and Maya
were meant to be together, and nothing could
come between them. Or so they thought. As they
exchanged their vows and sealed their love with a
kiss, Dave plotted his next move.
