**Episode 4: Jealous Hearts, Rising
Tides**
**(Lani's POV)**
I saw them again, Shary and
Moana, laughing together near the
shore. He was teaching her how to
carve wood! It should be me! I
deserve his attention, his guidance.
I will make Shary see that I am the
best for him, I'll make his life
easier. Everyone in the village
knows I am pretty, and Moana is
just lucky.
**(Kaimana's POV)**
I tried to talk to Moana again,
telling her about the rare -shell I
found for her. But she was too busy
watching Shary. I tried to get her
attention, but she doesnt care!
Shary is not even doing anything!
He just stands there! What does
she even see in him? I bet shary is
just using her.
**(Shary's POV)**
I felt the tension in the village, the
simmering jealousy directed at
Moana and me. Lani's advances
were irritating, Kaimana's
resentment was palpable. I only
have eyes for Moana. As for
Moana, she seems troubled.
