Jim took the file and began to read.
The documents detailed a series of
complex financial transactions,
linking Davison to offshore accounts
and -shell corporations. There were
also memos referring to coded
projects and mysterious meetings.
As he read, Jim began to
understand the scope of Davison's
operations. He wasn't just an arms
dealer. He was involved in
something far more sinister.
Suddenly, the cottage door burst
open. Two men in dark suits
stormed into the kitchen, their faces
grim.
"Sarah," one of them said. "You've
