"What is it, Lucky? Show me!" he called as he ran after
the dog.
They dashed deeper into the forest, away from the
familiar paths, into a place Uche had never seen before.
The trees were taller here, their leaves appeared to be
whispering secrets to each other. Uche was afraid, and
yet excited.
"Where are we going, Lucky? Where are you taking me
to?" Uche asked the dog but it kept moving and
wagging its tail.
Suddenly, Lucky the dog stopped in front of a large
tree. He started barking. His bark was loud and fierce.
Uche rushed forward, and to his shock, he saw a young
woman tied to the tree!
She looked scared but beautiful, with long hair that
flowed like the river. Uche's heart fell into his stomach. Don't forget to leave a Comment
