The Havenwood Lavender Ball was
a highly anticipated annual event, a
celebration of the town's history
and a chance for the community to
come together. The ball was named
after the lavender fields that once
surrounded Havenwood, and it was
tradition for attendees to wear
lavender-colored attire.
Ellie had always avoided the
Lavender Ball, finding it too stuffy
and pretentious. But this year, she
decided to attend, hoping that it

learn more about Alistair and Eliza.
To her surprise, Liam offered to be
her date. He had never attended

he was intrigued by its historical
significance and he wanted to
spend more time with Ellie.
Ellie accepted his offer, feeling a

lights, and elegant chandeliers. The
air was filled with music, laughter,
