**Episode 8: Whispers and Plots**
**(Lani's POV)**
I need a plan. I need to find a way
to break Shary and Moana apart. I
started spreading rumors, subtle
whispers about Moana's strange
connection to the ocean, suggesting
it was unnatural, even dangerous. I
know the villagers believe in
superstitions. I'll use that against
her.
**(Moana's POV)**
I felt the change in the village.
People were avoiding me,
whispering behind my back. I heard
snippets of conversations: "strange,"
"unnatural," "cursed." My heart
ached. Did they really believe I was
a threat?
**(Shary's POV)**
I saw the way the villagers looked
at Moana, the fear and suspicion in
their eyes. Lani's whispers were
poisoning their minds. I confronted
her, my voice low and dangerous.
"Stop it, Lani," I said. "Leave Moana
alone." She just smiled, a cold,
calculating smile. "Or what, Shary?
What will you do?"
