**Episode 19: Confronting the Past,
Part 1**
Driven by a desire to understand
and heal, Amanda decided to visit
the Hawthorne mansion. It was the
first time she had set foot on the
property since her escape, and a
wave of emotions washed over her
as she approached the imposing
gates.
The mansion was a faded shadow
of its former glory, the once-
manicured lawns overgrown and
neglected, the paint peeling from
the walls. The air was heavy with a
sense of decay and despair.
She was met at the door by a
weary-looking Mrs. Eleanor, her
face etched with worry and her
eyes filled with a mixture of
surprise and resentment.
"What do you want?" she asked,
her voice cold and brittle.
"I came to see you," Amanda
replied, her voice calm but firm. "I
