**Episode 10: Darkest Before Dawn
(October 17, 2024)**
Ethan's reckless behavior finally
caught up with him. After another
night of heavy drinking, he got into
a fight at a party. He was arrested
for drunk and disorderly conduct,
his mugshot splashed across the
local news. The news spread like
wildfire through Northwood High.
His reputation, his future,
everything he had worked for, was
now in jeopardy.
His parents were devastated, their
grief compounded by his actions.
The football coach benched him,
stripping him of his captaincy. His
friends distanced themselves,
unsure how to deal with his
downward spiral. Ethan was
ostracized, alone, and filled with
shame. He felt like he had hit rock
bottom.
He thought of Liam, of the
disappointment he would have felt.
He realised he was doing the very
thing his brother never wanted him
to do. But amidst the despair, a
flicker of hope ignited. He knew he
needed help, that he couldn't
continue down this path. He
thought of Maya and how lost and
sad she looked. He wanted to
reach out to her, to apologise for
his distance. But he was too afraid,
too ashamed. He did not want to
make her situation worse. He did
not know what was coming for
