Episode 19: Seeds of Discontent
(PaRiskY POV)
News of Layla's failed attempt to sway Shary reached
me quickly, carried on the whispers of the outcast
network. A smirk spread across my face. So, the great
Layla wasn't as invincible as she thought. This was a
chink in her armor, a weakness I could exploit.
"Lamineyamal19," I said, turning to my newfound ally,
"it seems our esteemed sorceress is not having much
luck winning over Shary. Perhaps we can use this to
our advantage."
I outlined my plan, a scheme to further destabilize
Chatlanka by exploiting the rift between Shary, Moana,
and Layla. "With a little manipulation, we can turn them
against each other, weakening the city from within."
(Lamineyamal19 POV)
PaRiskY's plan was intriguing, offering a subtle approach
to dismantling Chatlanka. I had always favored brute
force, but I recognized the value of sowing discord and
manipulating emotions.
"Your plan has merit," I said, considering his words. "But
we must proceed with caution. Layla is not to be
underestimated. She is a dangerous adversary, and we
cannot afford to alert her to our intentions."
I nodded, signaling my approval. "Proceed, PaRiskY. But
remember, your loyalty is to me. Any attempt to betray
me will be met with swift and decisive consequences."
(PaRiskY POV)
Loyalty. A meaningless word to me. I would use
Lamineyamal19 and his band of outcasts to achieve my
own goals, then discard them when they were no
longer useful. My only loyalty was to myself and my
thirst for revenge.
I bowed my head in mock subservience. "Of course,
Lamineyamal19. Your will is my command."
Inside, I seethed. Soon, Chatlanka would fall, and I
would be the one pulling the strings, the puppet master
controlling the chaos. Shary, Madizon, my father… they
would all pay for what they had done to me.
