Rose’s POV
“Excuse us, Pearl.” Ethan said to the lady that was
seated before him. The lady shot me a devilish look
and walked inside one of the rooms in the house.
My heart bleeds, has Ethen been having s-x with
her already? How could Ethan change so quickly
when he wasn’t even sure about Joe yet.
“Please, sit.” Ethan gestured for my dad to sit. My
dad and I sat.
“Rose told me the chaos that are beginning to
happen in your marriage. Well, I’ll need you to
handle the issue cleverly. You have only done the
DNA text at an hospital, how about trying a
different hospital?” My father asked.
“DNA teat isn’t a test that doctors would make a
mistake on, Joe isn’t my son.” Ethan said and my
heart skipped, it was like my heart will fall off my
chest.
“Ethan!” I exclaimed his name but he didn’t even
bother to look at my face, he only set his attention
on my dad.
“Nevertheless, let’s try a different hospital.” My dad
insisted.
“What if the result is the same?” Ethan asked.
“I’ll advise what to do, let’s perform the test first.”
My father said and Ethan finally agreed.
That same day, we all went to the hospital, the
doctor collected the samples of Joe’s blood and that
of Ethan, the DNA text was conducted and we all
waited inside a decent room for the result.
There were chairs in the room but none of us were
sitting.

“Mom! what’s going on?” Joe asked? I had gone to
pick him from school abruptly. I should understand
the reasons behind his worries.
“Everything is fine, we are only performing a test.”
I said.
“A teat? to know if dad is my father , right?” Joe

My father and Ethan went to look at the little boy’s
face, how in the world did he find out?
I squatted before him and maintained a smile, “It’s
not really a big deal, I’ll take you to school soon.”
“Humm! But my friends told me I resemble dad,
why is he doubting that I’m his son. Is he going to
chase me away?” He asked.
“He won’t do that, your dad is a kind man and he’s
your father. We only want to confirm.” I said, trying
so hard to convince him.
Joe who was standing then went to sit, he folded
